The Rock is a model of Hollywood’s obsession with steroids

The Rock is on steroids

The Rock is ridiculously muscular for a 48 year old man.

Born into this world as Dwayne Johnson, he is Hollywood’s greatest male star. According to Forbes, The Rock was the highest-paid actor in the world in 2020.

Hollywood has a history of casting muscular men in the lead roles, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone in the 1980s.

This trend has been even more pronounced over the past decade, as superhero movies have dominated Hollywood. According to this list, they were over 50.

Is this what the consumer wants? Probably because eight more were released in 2020. If no one was watching, they wouldn’t.

In order for normal actors to perform their role, they must be in the form of a superhero.

This is where Hollywood’s little secret comes in: Actors use steroids to turn their characters into movie roles.

And The Rock is his poster child.

The Rock, first shown at WWE World in 1996, won his first Hollywood role in 2001 and left the game a few years later when his acting career began.

He’s a charismatic and likeable guy with a good comedic rhythm. His WWE lines are cult favorites.

As a result, he became a leading man in Hollywood.

Professional fighter!

But he’s not being honest with us. I think it’s pretty obvious that he’s been on steroids for several years.

If you are natural, you cannot constantly improve your figure. As soon as our natural testosterone drops, our muscle potential drops. I will go further soon.

The following photo is a great example of what you have earned in recent years.

On the left, Dwayne Johnson appears to have stopped using the PED around 2006-2010. He’s left WWE and Hollywood producers to regularly cast him in lead roles in family adventures and action comedy films such as Get Smart, Race to Witch Mountain, and Tooth Fairy.

He is still an impressive figure, but on days of battle he is drastically reduced.

To the right is Dwayne with an extra 30-50 pounds (15-25kg) of muscle – great genetics and work ethic versus great genetics and work ethic plus steroids.

In 2013, The Rock grew up again to return to WWE and participate in the Pain & Gain movie about a criminal bodybuilder.

Dwayne says he’s the hardest worker in the room. Of course, I have the same philosophy. However, that doesn’t mean I’ll be more muscular at fifty than at 36.

“What is the key to success? The key is that there is no key. Be humble, hungry and be the hardest worker in every room.” – Dwayne Johnson

This is probably the motivation for a lot of people to get in shape. But we’re not talking about the most important component of your character.

He should be transparent about drugs.

In a 2009 interview, Johnson admitted that he tried steroids in college, but apparently quit.

“I tried it. My friends and I tried it when I was 18 or 19. We didn’t know what we were doing.” – Dwayne Johnson

So you tried it when you were young, but didn’t use steroids in WWE?

Truly?

WWE has a well-documented history of its steroid wrestlers, which I will come back to shortly.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Dwayne Johnson admitted to having gynecomastia surgery in 2005, a breast reduction procedure for men, sometimes referred to as “abstinence.”

Men, often called gynecologists, experience growth in breast tissue. This is a common side effect of steroids.

Johnson said he chose the surgery for “cosmetic purposes” only.

Obvious! The action hero’s male breasts are not very attractive.

Optimal age to develop strength and muscles.

The most obvious reason to doubt Dwayne’s natural character is his 48 years.

Of course, our ability to build muscle mass peaks between the ages of 20 and 20.

Testosterone is an important male hormone for building muscle and can drop as much as 3% per year when natural testosterone production peaks around the age of 18.

Muscles are strongest around the age of 25. Although we can maintain most of this muscle through strength training for the next 10 to 15 years.

Very few athletes over 35 are at the top of their sport. Sprinters peak in the mid-1920s and the average NBA player is 26.

“Strength peaks around age 25, stabilizes at age 35 or 40, then shows an accelerated decline with a 25% loss of peak strength at age 65.” – Shephard, 1998

After this point, the ability to build and / or maintain muscle mass begins to decrease. That’s why men are given hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to supplement their naturally declining testosterone.
